Position Overview:

The Solutions Engineer will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive logistics solutions for our clients. This position requires a combination of project management, pricing engineering, sales, client implementation, continuous improvement, and strong leadership skills. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the logistics industry and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:

- Lead and manage complex logistics projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes, objectives, and deliverables.

- Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.

2. Pricing Engineering:

- Analyze customer requirements and develop competitive pricing proposals for logistics services.

- Conduct cost analysis and provide recommendations for pricing strategies and optimization.

- Collaborate with the sales team to negotiate pricing and contracts with new and existing clients.

3. Sales:

- Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and develop customized logistics solutions.

- Assist in creating compelling sales presentations and proposals to potential clients.

- Conduct product demonstrations and provide technical expertise to support the sales process.

4. New Client Implementation:

- Serve as a key point of contact for new clients during the implementation phase, ensuring smooth onboarding and integration.

- Conduct site visits and gather relevant data to develop tailored logistics solutions.

- Coordinate with internal teams to execute successful client go-lives and establish strong client relationships.

5. Continuous Improvement:

- Identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction within the logistics operations.

- Conduct data analysis and utilize industry best practices to optimize warehouse processes and enhance efficiency.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and monitor improvement initiatives.

6. Leadership:

- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of logistics professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.

- Mentor and train team members, promoting their professional development.

- Act as a subject matter expert and provide technical support to the team as needed.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics, preferably within a 3PL warehouse environment.

- Strong project management skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Proficient in pricing engineering and cost analysis methodologies.

- Proven track record in sales and business development, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service.

- Experience in implementing new client accounts and managing successful client onboarding processes.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for continuous improvement opportunities.

- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.

- Effective communication and presentation skills.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
